Paper Cuts
Japanese artist Noriko Ambe specializes in paper sculptures that rely on stacked, individually-cut single sheets to give it dimension. I’ve seen similar executions of papercuts but Noriko’s style feels more organic and abstract, with a greater attention to detail. Not only impressive in detail, but in quantity as well. Flipping through Noriko’s gallery reveals a surprising amount of work for something that seems so meticulous.
