The Classic Mixtape Remix

It has been super busy here lately… freelance projects, planning a new site design, an upcoming re-brand, but its never too busy to make a mixtape for a super cool friend. The technology may be dated but the sentimental value of the mixtape is still as fresh as it was in the 80’s. At least, I like to think so.

How do you preserve the sentiment and use a more relevant storage device? I found the answer here: Mixtape Redux. Also, I’m a huge sucker for the restrained design of classic tech, so naturally, I had to follow that path. Although, the final solution feels more like a decade before the mixtape gained its popularity. Luckily, I could refer to ISO50 and Polar Alert. Pretty rad.
